VLOG #105 – Are You Ok
I want to talk about confidence.
I honestly do believe that most people struggle with self esteem and confidence.
It’s not the fact that they don’t know what to do.
There might be a little bit of unknown in there. It’s just underpinning general confidence.
And this is an element of mental health this is an element of self-esteem. This is an element of personal development.
How do we overcome this?
I think we need to accept or understand that we are not absolutely categorically not alone.
Secondly, then we need to give ourselves permission to fail, to try, to maybe look a little bit silly, because if we give ourselves permission to do that, so we can learn from those mistakes or those experiences.
I think the third thing is being around other people that you can bounce ideas off. Join an authentic group where you can say how you feel, where you can be yourself, not get shut down for it and get support through those difficult days and phases.
Give yourself permission to succeed.
Give yourself permission to take control
There will be barriers along the way and it is not going to be easy, but a commitment to growth a commitment to progress.
