VLOG 135 – Would you pay more for speed?
💭Somebody said to me “I’d like to come on your course. Let’s make it happen”.
I logged onto my phone sent them a request for the funds, minutes later the cash was in the bank, but it comes with a price and that price was a couple of percent or 1 percent but it turned out to be about 9 pounds that I paid for this, which if I had gone the other way if I’d have gone through the website set up a product and had somebody do that.
It would have taken me longer, but I wouldn’t have had to pay the £9. And also who knows what that person might be thinking at the other end.
And here’s the thing, it made me think about this phrase I call “What are you prepared to pay for Speed❔” Because speed is huge and PayPal know that their system is easy.
Their system is functional and it allows you to do things quickly get out to people quickly, but that comes at a price.
I was at a seminar last year and one of the questions asked by one of the participants was one of my clients is asking if he finishes early if he gets results, the results that he wants early can he have a refund for the rest of the payments, the rest of the sessions as this person was a life coach and she was talking about selling 90 days or six months worth and the idea is if the guy got his results in three months, he wants 50% back and my response was simple I said, he should be paying double for that because he’s paying double to get the results twice as fast.
When you put speed into the equation your value goes through the roof and provided that you back yourself and believe that you can deliver that speed.
It’s an absolute value add, it’s a premium.
My suggestion to you is, if you do it twice as fast charge double and don’t be put off by systems that might be more expensive but a lot easier and more fluent for you to run your business❕ 💭
