VLOG 140 – Epic content
I have a lot of people ask me about creating content, creating videos, creating blogs.
What do I write about?
Epic content for me is creating really good quality content to give to my community/network but what is epic content?
The 1st part of this the E for epic, is your content needs to be empowering to the people you serve. It needs to give them something, give them solutions, empower them.
The 2nd part is It needs to be personal although you might not be writing or talking to one person. You kind of are, you’re thinking about a conversation you’ve had or somebody that’s that’s shed light on something and you want to give them some tips. It also needs to be passionate.
The 3rd part is it needs to be informative it needs to give people information that they can Implement and it needs to be inspirational so your audience thinks boom 🤯, I can do that, I’m up for this and then the final part is you need to be consistent, really consistent with your content. Don’t just do one video a week and then complain that it hasn’t worked. Don’t just write 1 blog a month and complain that it hasn’t had the open rate. You’ve got to show up every single day, every single week in some format and give people consistent quality epic content.
And the last part of this the Epic content pathway is it needs to be candid and what I mean by that is, it needs to be story like, talk about things that have actually happened and capture those things in your content.
So whether you do blogs whether you write articles, whether you post videos, podcasts whether you do live Q&A’s just posts on Instagram, post on LinkedIn, whatever it is, follow the Epic framework, and you can’t go far wrong.
