VLOG 157 – The importance of work capacity
🔷 So last week I did a podcast on work capacity and developing that, along with other qualities like power endurance.
Really what I want to talk about is the importance of work capacity. It first came to my mind when it was more about literally how do you get people to do more work in a one-hour space of time❓
So they’re not fit enough to train, they’re not fit enough to do the work and so we have to improve their work capacity, but there’s more to it than that and It’s not just about general fitness.
It’s about technical fitness and technical preparedness to do the technical work that is required and also recover from that, come back the next day, the next day, the next day, the next week and continue to grow and adapt.
So we’ve got to plan work capacity in as a priority guys❗️🔷
