VLOG 206 | 2 strategies to manage anxiety in business and life
🔵I want to talk today about managing anxiety and two things that I suppose I’ve learnt, that might be useful.
So one thing that is good about anxiety is that it is actually telling you something, it’s telling you to be prepared.
It’s telling you that something is coming up. And you need to get ready for it. And that’s a good thing. That’s a really good thing.
The other thing that it’s telling you is to assess the level of
reasonableness related to that anxiety. Are you doing too much❓ Do you need to say no❓
So it’s saying prepare, prepare for that presentation, prepare for that performance.
It’s also saying assess, are you doing too much❓ Is the balance right❓ And then stripping things out that allow you to reduce that anxiety, should you need to and feel that you can’t necessarily deal with it right now.🔵
