VLOG 212 | Fundamental movement skills are just one part of the equation.
🔵 So we often talk about as coaches, fundamental movement skills and absolutely subscribe to that squat, lunge, press, pull, brace rotate, 3D movements, lateral variations, combining those movements.
But there’s another thing that goes in this same discussion and it’s the concept of how you want this movement to be performed.
The flow, the style, the rhythm of the movement.
It’s not just how you do the movement, but it’s how you want that movement done.
So for example, you can do slow squats, you can do fast Squats, you can do things that emphasise stiffness and you can do things that emphasise flow and rhythm.
So my question for you….
How do you want your clients, your athletes moving❓ Define that and then train it❗️ 🔵
