🔵Recently I’ve been asked a couple of times about how do we put a good proposal together to approach teams, approach governing bodies, approach customers❓
So I wanted to give a couple of thoughts and reflections on that, having written many many proposals over the years for coaching services, marketing provisions in general and so on and so forth.
I think that the biggest thing here with a proposal is I really don’t like to go in cold with a proposal.
You almost want your proposal to reflect a conversation that you had with the person, the decision maker not going in cold, but reflect on a conversation you had.
This is different to say a direct mail campaign where you send in lump email or emails and so on and so forth.
This is actually after you’ve had that conversation. So make sure you pick up the phone or you meet with that person and actually have a meaningful conversation before you do that proposal❗️🔵
