VLOG 218 | Being coachable means you’re a good employee…but why do we want that?
🔵So in my coaching group a week or two ago, I shared a graphic that I got from LinkedIn and we had a really good discussion around this and it was basically saying coach-able children are great employees.
Let your child be exposed to tough coaching or toughness.
We had a really good round about discussion.
The point I want to make is why is it good to be employable❓
You know firstly I think good employees don’t necessarily make good business owners, people who break the rules and who struggle to be confined by the rules are often the people that create the products, create the jobs for the people who like the rules.
So you’ve got to foster that you’ve got to allow people to break the rules, allow people to challenge in your coaching,
Secondly, What is toughness❓ Why do we want toughness❓
We want challenge❗️ We want respect, but toughness no…🔵
