One of the things that I often get asked to do is to help people fill events help people get bums on seats and there’s a feeling that the events have to be rammed. And if they’re not it’s a failure…
Yet what often happens is you hear reports of yeh I 60 people in the room, but I didn’t make any sales and it’s not because you’re not a good salesperson.
It’s because the people in the room are not qualified and this is another example of vanity versus sanity. Vanity is having 60 people in the room that are not qualified. Sanity is having six people in the room and you close all six. Very different type of event.
If you’re doing events, if you’re in the invent space and you’re trying to sell think about smaller, tighter events that actually convert❗️🔵
